As a luxury jazz brand, we specialize in taking the modern pop songs you already know and love and giving them a fresh, upscale jazz twist. It’s the perfect blend of high-end entertainment and pure fun—creating an elegant atmosphere where guests of all ages will immediately recognize the music and want to join in.
Can I work with you to customize a playlist?

Yes, absolutely! We love collaborating with you to set the perfect tone. We’ll share our extensive song list with you so you can pick and choose your absolute favorites to perfectly match the vibe of your event.
Are you willing to learn new songs that are important to me?

We would love to! To help make your day extra special, we are happy to learn 1 to 2 new songs for your event free of charge. If you have additional requests beyond that, we can accommodate them for $25 per song.
How many musicians and vocalists are in your band?

We offer a variety of customizable group sizes to fit your venue and atmosphere perfectly:
Duo: Guitar & sax or guitar & bass
Trio: Guitar, bass, & sax
Quartet: Guitar, bass, and sax, plus your choice of either a vocalist or drums
Quintet: Guitar, bass, sax, a vocalist, and drums
Want something even grander? We can easily expand the band by adding instruments like keyboard, trumpet, clarinet, flute, extra percussion, or additional male and female vocalists.
Is someone available to act as the emcee?

Yes, jazz is our true passion! We specialize in all styles of jazz, with a particular love for transforming modern pop favorites into sophisticated, jazz-infused arrangements.
We are always happy to consider requests from your guests! Our main priority is keeping the performance exceptional, so we will gladly play them as long as we can deliver the music with the absolute highest quality.
Do you take song requests from guests?

Will you work with my venue to make setup arrangements?

Of course. We will connect directly with your venue coordinator to handle all the logistics. We make sure that our load-in, setup, soundcheck, and breakdown are completely seamless so you don't have to worry about a thing.
How many years have you been in business?

While we officially launched Pop Nouveau in 2014, our founders, Dan and Sam, have been active in the Southern California live entertainment industry since 2000. You're getting over two decades of professional experience!
What is your refund or cancellation policy?

We know plans can change. Either party can cancel the agreement in writing up to 45 days before the event with no financial penalty, and your deposit will be fully refunded. For cancellations made by the client within 45 days of the event, the following fee schedule applies based on the remaining balance: 45 to 15 days notice requires 30%; 15 to 5 days requires 50%; 5 days to 24 hours requires 75%; and cancellations within 24 hours require 100%.
